Our position statements support our three key areas of global partnership: Awareness, Collaboration, and National Framework to end loneliness and promote connection.

In keeping with our charter, these six position statements aim to be grounded in the research evidence, illustrated in the accompanying evidence summaries. They will be reviewed regularly.

Our individual position statements:

1. Social connection is essential to health and wellbeing

2. Social isolation, loneliness and social negativity are distinct and each can compromise wellbeing
