The Steering Committee is made up of the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the five GILC operational Committees and provides GILC with operational oversight and leadership to ensure the projects, programs, and initiatives endeavored upon are informed by and coordinated across the operational committees in fulfillment of the GILC Strategic Plan., Mission and Vision.  As such, the GILC Steering Committee also holds the primary responsibility for the development of the GILC Strategic Plan which is formally approved and adopted by the Board of Directors. ​
